Update to my review. Removed 4 stars after today's horrible experience with Dr Gallegos and the clinic manager Jennifer! Went back today for an exam and x-rays. I Told them I was in pain and in what tooth was bothering me most. They did not and would not under ANY circumstances fix it today!! I have been waiting for this appointment for a month and I'm absolutely livid at the fact that the whole reason I went in I couldn't get my tooth fixed!! I AM IN PAIN!!! Constant pain!!! Awful customer service! Awful patient care today!! I don't think I'll be back! Now I have to wait AT LEAST another week to get the tooth fixes I've waited over a month already to fix!! If you need something fixed urgently, STAY AWAY from here! They won't help you!! The clinic manager Jennifer was VERY RUDE and unhelpful!!! They could have seen me today! I told them I'd wait as long as I need to and they refused!!!!! Worst dental experience EVER by far!!!!

I started going here 3 years ago when I first moved to New Mexico.. I chose it because of the proximity to my home and they had a woman dentist. The staff is friendly, the office is clean, and I like my dental hygienist that cleans my teeth. They don’t try to oversell you anything like in dental offices I’ve been at in CA. I never thought I would ever send a review about a dentist, but Dr. Leeper is incredible. I have a major fear of dentistry. Decades of horrible experiences. Dr. Leeper figured that out almost immediately. I had to have a crown, she prescribed medication to calm me. What a difference it made. I could not open my mouth without discomfort due to a terrible rash at the corners of my mouth. She prescribed a cream that is already clearing it up. Thank you Dr. Leeper for your kindness, your service and your compassion.

Even though my cleanings never changed, they started charging me $100. When I asked why I was charged, but my co-worker with the same insurance wasn't, they said it was because my gums were receding. I asked what they do differently (spoiler alert: it was the exact same cleaning without even measuring the gum recession), they couldn't explain it other than they bill it to the insurance at a higher rate, so I have to pay more.

My first visit and most likely my last. They kindly squeezed me in for tooth pain and referred me to an oral surgeon for extraction. After determining I had a live nerve, she shot air into the hole so she could take a picture which put me through the roof in pain!!! Now I am white knuckling it since then and have to wait un til I can get it extracted in 5 days! No mention of pain management until then, and the pain is brutal!! Also, I have been in isolation since I am imunocompromised due to the pandemic, 5 hours after my visit I’m having a scratchy throat. Gee, what a lousy experience?

There billing department is the worst they charged me a 1000 dollars the first time I got a procedure done with them. Even though I have a high plan option with my dental insurance and my health insurance also covers part of my cost. They have never offered to clean my teeth once. They made me wait over four months to get my permanent crown after the temporary broke and was missing. And even to this day I have pain from a cavity filling that they did twice. It’s funny looking through the reviews and nobody seems to have a problem with this place but me and another guy named Jesus.

Dr. Hirji and her staff are amazing!..I've had 2 emergency procedures done with them and they have accomadated me each time. One the first occasion I called about 3:00 on a Thursday afternoon and they had me in a 9:00am on Friday!..Then I called one Saturday at 10 or so and they had me in by 1:00pm!.. They are just a fun, understanding , and supporting group of ladies...I enjoy going to the dentist because the atomosphere Dr. Hirji has created from the front door to the chair its professinal but fun!.. I can tell that the staff enjoy working for Dr. Hirji and with her! I would definately recommend North Coors Dental to anyone looking for great dentist that takes pride in her craft and treats everyone with respect and dignity.

Dr. Long did a root canal on me today and the worst part was the shot that I barely felt. 3 hours later I couldn’t even tell I had work done. He is very friendly and very gentle and kind. I must say that my dentist does an amazing job on my teeth and is very quick at it too. The only down side is even when I show up early I've had to wait anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes passed the actually scheduled appointment. So make sure you don't have any plans right after your visit.
