Horrible Dr. went in with a toothache, was put on antibiotics and was referred. Couldn’t get appointment for less than 30 days out. Ran out of antibiotic and called to see if she would refill. She did not and now my infection is worse. Went to Aspen Dental and was treat so well. They will be pulling the tooth and are not afraid of its long roots like this dentist was. Thanks for the extra days of agony and pain!

I stayed several years with Mountain Dental because of my hygienist, Jolene. Last time I was there I was told I'd need a deep cleaning and extra X-rays and had to sign an agreement to that effect for my next visit. I got a second contradictory opinion. Now with Jolene gone, I left too. The front desk people are wonderful, not crazy about the dentist.

Scam alert!!!!!!!! They draw you in with a cheap exam then tell you you’ll need thousands of dollars worth of work. I went in for their “special” and was told I have five cavities and need a root canal. I thought that seemed excessive so I got another opinion from a dentist that doesn’t have specials and he said ZERO cavities and NO need for a root canal at all. DO NOT GO HERE OR BELIEVE THE LIES!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place was competent. But, not anymore! They now have rotating dentists. Expect a new dentist every time you go in. They missed a giant cavity on two subsequent X-rays and only caught it after I complained of pain. The hygienist first tried to discount my complaints of pain by stating that people call her and complaint of pain with very small things. Their mistake cost me lots of money and time. Despite all this, they still call me and last week, they had the audacity to bill me. They are lucky I am not taking them to court since their mistake is so obvious and I have proof of missed cavity times two X-rays that they themselves took.

If you have medical issues DO NOT USE this establishment. My daughter has a medical condition that she can not take NSAIDS. This dental office told her to take the medication anyway. Now her ITP has flared and this is life threatening. Guess with the way the country has a problem with drugs the docs and dentist assume drug seeker instead of checking her history. Then as a mother I phone them to explain the disease and they hung up on me. They obviously don't need patients or care about life. Pray my daughter will be okay

Great Experience! Abq Westside Dental Office: This is one of the best Dental experiences I have had in a long time! In fact, I'll even say in my life. Dr. Smith was great, and also helpful. For me the best experience was the Dental Hygienist Anne! I hate it, and a big "turn-off" for me, is when the Hygienist pick your teeth, and then hit your gums (that's when it turns into a white knuckle ride). Not ONCE! did Anne picked my gums..I was totally impressed. There is another Dental Office, which I will not mentioned by name (proximity to CVS on Coors and Montano) that the Hygienist "hacked" away at my gums, like a Butcher with a meat cleaver, taking it to "raw meat". I had to walk out of the office with major pain, and eventually a loss molar (should have sued). But Anne was great, and very thorough. I highly recommend this office! And by all means, don't go to the Dental Office near CVS (Coors and Montano) Horrible place! Freddie Krueger's Dental office!

I wish I could give this place a negative star. The reason for this one star rating is that mountain dental stated that they accepted my insurance, after services were given they then stated that they, in fact, did Not accept my insurance. I thought this was rather underhanded and made an attempt to set up a payment schedule with them, which they refused to do. It was pay the entire bill or it would go into collections. Again, I wish I could give this place a negative rating.

I've been a patient at Mt. Dental for years, first with Dr. Bastian who was an outstanding dentist with a warm personality, and more recently with Dr. McGinty who was the best dentist that could possibly take over for Dr. Bastian. Dr. McGinty is also professional and has a warm and engaging personality. Plus, she's a baseball fan! The services at Mt. Dental are tops!
